(3/3) When I came to Australia, I kept seeing ‘No Asians’ in the sexual preference section on dating apps. It made me feel like there’s something wrong with me. That’s one of the reasons why I’m in this parade, to make Asian gays more visible. People talk about fighting homophobia but there is also a lot of prejudice within the gay community itself.

“No Asians” is not a sexual preference, it’s ignorant, racist bullshit that people should at least have enough shame about to keep to themselves if they don’t have the intelligence to rid themselves of completely.
